I believe, as a student, that homework is just a tool that teachers use to keep us busy. It doesn’t really have a good purpose and there is more of a negative side to it than a positive side. Homework causes me to get very stressed out, it causes stress in their students in my class, and studies show that it doesn’t improve test scores. It actually shows the opposite: i found out that, “doing more than 60 to 90 min. a night in middle school and more than 2hr. in high school is associated with, gulp, lower scores.” This just shows that homework is a useless item that students are forced to do so that is the reason why homework should be banned and punish for its cruelty towards students

It all started when me my mum georgia aka my sister and my little brother aka reid went to a shopping mall( that i forget what it is called i have really bad memory ) to have lunch with gran aka my mums mum meaning my grandma and so my little brother wanted me to play with him so i did so when me and my little brother were playing together and i went down the slide i don't know why because the slide was midget like did i mention that this was an inside playground so yeah and little kids like to climb up it so since i don't like to be touched by little stranger kids that i don't know so i quickly stood up banging my foot on a metal pole five inches thick (i don't even that that's the poles real thickness it's probably seven inches think but anyway back to the story) me trying to not cry bursted into tears of the pain limped to my mum with a face full of red says i've think i've broken my toes and guess what she just says you probably just banned them and with anger in head my grandma says who wants a photo i felt like screaming what can you expect i've probably broken my toes  and my grandma wants a photo wow so much for being the first day of the holidays and yess my hole foot was bright red and my mum say i've just bumped it so the next day it was in more in pain pluss i hade to walked well speed walk becaus mum was at work and gran was at walk so dad was looking arfter me and reid and georgia was at the stables with eliezer my second cousin were going to practis some show jumping and cross contrey so a little while later i was at the docters with my mum because i was not having it so me and mum found out that i hade broken two of my toes and yeh so that is all for now i with add more

hello bloggers and welcome to a new bogg today oh yeah my name is briar and i am a year six from yaldhurst model school and today we will be talking about what if bad traditional Tales characters had a back story is really heart touching that made them that way like in my opine the big bad wolf doesn't mean to be bad he just wants to make friends   her is my example

 I think the troll might of ground because when he was little he might of gone to troll school and his class might of got to a swimming center to learn how to swim so when he get older they don't die by drowning  .anyway back to the trolls perspective yeh so the troll might of getting into the pool and started to sink and he obviously doesn't know how to gracefully swim back up to the top of the pool so he started to splash to call for help, which obviously worked so two of his main swimming instructors jumped into action to save him oh and by the way he was fifty five pounds and only two years old oh and the  two of his main swimming instructors were teenagers and humans so it did work out really well but when he came out oh the water the other trolls made fun of him so that is why he drowned

Hello bloggers my name is Briar and i come from yaldhurst model school welcome to my blog today. This week it is maths week and Bridget Delilah and me all worked together to make a bridge this is what it looked like at the start aka meaning the first step 

and then this is what me and Delilah agreed on because Bridget was int felling well sadly

 and then this sorry for the weird angel oh and those were the legs

and then the last step for now oh i almost foget the rules were Your task is to design and build a bridge using a maximum of 100 Popsicle sticks, 5 metres of

tape, 2 metres of string. You can also use glue.

Your design must show all aspects of your bridge, with some reasoning included as to why you

structure it in the way you do.

Your finished bridge will be judged on how long you can make it and how structurally strong it

is. We will also be looking at the design process you use and how well you explain your

reasoning.

day out in town

Hello bloggers and welcome to my blog today. By the title you can probably tell that rimu class went on a class trip to town first we all went to the new city library in town. We got a tour around the whole library and we were split into two different gropes to make it easier. We started at the forth floor but there were five floors all to gather. Each floor had a different color and a different bird. After the tour of the library we walked all the way to the margaret mahy playground. It was really fun when we got to play on the playground.
